Pacman Frog

Pacman frogs are distinctive South American amphibians named for their wide mouths and round bodies. These sedentary hunters prefer warm, humid environments with temperatures between 75–80°F and require a substrate that holds moisture well, such as coconut husk or sphagnum moss. Feed them pinky mice, fish, earthworms and other bugs 2–3 times weekly; they're ambush predators that rarely move far from their chosen spot. Provide a shallow water dish for soaking and maintain humidity at 60–80%. With proper care, these fascinating frogs can live 10–15 years in captivity, making them rewarding pets for patient keepers.
