Catfish

Catfish are bottom-dwelling freshwater fish known for their whisker-like barbels and hardy nature, making them excellent for beginner and experienced aquarists alike. These nocturnal scavengers thrive in tanks with plenty of hiding spots, moderate water flow, and temperatures between 72–82°F. Feed a varied diet of sinking pellets, vegetables, and occasional live foods. Most species are peaceful community fish but may consume smaller tank mates. Maintain stable water parameters and perform regular 25–30% water changes to keep them healthy and active.
