Shark

Aquarium sharks are predatory fish that require spacious tanks with strong filtration and stable water conditions. Most species need 75+ gallons and prefer slightly higher salinity levels. They're carnivorous and demand live or frozen prey—typically small fish or shrimp. Maintain water temperature between 72–78°F and perform regular water changes to keep nitrate levels low. Sharks are sensitive to stress and tank mates must be chosen carefully to avoid predation. Nocturnal by nature, they thrive with dim lighting and plenty of hiding spaces. Not recommended for beginners due to their specialized care requirements and long lifespans.
